ABOUT THE COURSE

Certificate II in Electrotechnology (Career Start) is a work entry program that provides a grounding in safety and basic skills and knowledge for further work in any electrotechnology discipline.

This qualification requires 34 weeks of study.

You must attend class 20 hours every week. You will also need to complete self-paced learning from home. 

To enrol in this course you will need to have completed Australian Year 11 or equivalent and have an overall IELTS score of 5.5. You must be over 18 years old. Due to the physical requirements of this qualification, the student must have the ability to perform CPR on a manikin. You will need to take  Ausinet's maths test before you can enrol.

Tuition fee: AUD $10,000

Enrolment fee (non-refundable): AUD $250

Tuition fee (50% upfront and 50% halfway): AUD $4875

Assessment of competencies will be done by the trainer throughout the course. You will have to complete written and practical assessments and workplace demonstration and observation.
